Heaven
LISTEN OR BUY
INFO While working through some old hymnals, we repeatedly noticed wonderful texts about heaven. We decided to arrange new music for some of these great hymns and record them for this project. The result is the cd: a collection of 6 new hymn-arrangements and one familiar one. Spending the last few months with these hymns has been a great encouragement for us, and it has been beautiful to think specifically about heaven for a few months. We love being reminded that this earth is not our home, that our home is a place where we have not yet arrived, a beautiful place that Christ has prepared for us. We love the words of these hymns and hope our music has served it well. May these songs give you the hope and rest they have given us. “I soon shall reach the harbor, to which I speed my way, Shall cease from all my labor, and there forever stay.” CREDITS “Heaven” was recorded by Brian T. It is really good! I think you guys get better with every cd production-wise. The drums sound much better this time and the electric guitar work is very tasty. I think you really brought out the tunes very well and there are some great new tunes on this one! Everyone needs to buy this one (and you can quote me on that) and I can't wait to hear what else you all are working on!” - Kevin Twit, Indelible Grace “If you thought Depth of Mercy was a great collection of spiritual songs, you don’t want to miss this follow-up from Red Mountain Church. Here we have some of the best modern interpretations of classic hymns you’ll hear . . . extremely edifying. The listener is bound to be strengthened by these wonderful songs for the journey.” - The Discerning Reader |
